Sit With Chris: Empowering Aspiring Citizens
As a Colombian American and naturalized U.S. citizen, I was once part of the 9 million Lawful Permanent Residents across the U.S. eligible for citizenship. Navigating the challenges of learning English and guiding my family through the naturalization process, we successfully passed the English and Civics Naturalization Test. After taking the Oath of Allegiance, I felt inspired to help others achieve the same.
In college, I founded Sit with Chris to support aspiring citizens. Through tools like mock interviews and English exercises, I’ve assisted individuals from all places of the world including Hannah from Vietnam, who overcame language barriers to pass her test. My mission is to empower others to become a step closer toward the American dream.
